How to make scented wax melts

I made a simple double boiler by putting a larger pot half filled with water on the stove eye, then putting a smaller pot in it. Melt 12 ounces of beeswax. Place heat to medium and stir occasionally.

Add essential oils of your choice, stirring after each addition. I used 10 drops of clove, 15 drops of lavender and 7 drops of peppermint.

For molds, I used tea light candle tins. Remove tea lights by gently pulling on their wick.

Use a ladle to carefully pour melted mixture into tea light molds.

The melts are dry when they don't give when pressed in the center. As they dry, they will pull away from the edges of the molds.

Allow melts to dry completely, the remove by turning mold upside-down on countertop and tapping gently.

Place in your favorite warmer and enjoy the scent of your all natural melts!
