How to make easy seafood étouffée


On high heat, place 2 sticks of butter and light oil into frying pan

Dice green peppers and onions

Sauté your onions and green peppers till soft

Add the creole seasoning (you can use any type)

Turn stove down to medium heat, add garlic salt (to taste)

Add the rotel diced tomatoes and green chili pepper ... Side note: you can dice your own tomatoes and chili peppers

Add claw crab meat

Stir in crab meat ... Side note: at this point start to cook your rice or grits

Now add shrimp and Louisiana hot sauce ... You can add however much ... Cook until shrimp becomes pink

Secret ingredient (optional) : Sriracha ... I live by this stuff ... I combine the hot sauce and sriracha for a nice kick ... I love spice!!!

Add 1 can cream of mushroom and 1 can cream of shrimp

Stir ... make sure your shrimp is also nice and pink
