How to cook mexican bean burgers (vegetarian)

Drain kidney beans and put them in a large bowl. Partially mash them before adding the breadcrumbs, chilli powder, egg and ketchup

Mash a little bit more (although still having some whole beans in there gives it a good texture!) before dividing the mixture up. I made 4 BIG burgers!

Pat them down into patties. You can either freeze them for another time, or cook now! They only take 4 or 5 minutes each side in the oven at 200*C.

Serve them on a bun with plenty of sour cream, guacamole and salad!
