How to make cake pops

Step 1: Bake any cake you like. I made pound cake, but chocolate or red velvet works too.

Step 2: Crumble the cake with your hands.

Step 3: Make Buttercream icing. I made pink and white and mixed them together. You can also buy ready made icing at the store, if you don't want to make your own.

Step 5: Add the icing to your cake crumbs und mix well.

Step 6: Form cake balls, the size of a golf ball and put them on a waxpaper lined cookie sheet.

Step 7: Now chill the cake balls in your freezer for about 10 min.

Step 8: Meanwhile break some dark chocolate into small pieces. Heat water in a saucepan (don't bring to a boil!) and add the chocolate chunks (in a coffee cup). Stir occasionally until molten.

Step 7: Now stick wooden or metal skewers into the cake balls.

Step 8: Dip them into the chocolate so they're completely covered.

Step 9: Let the dry for about 1 min.

Step 10: while the chocolate is still a little soft decorate the cake pops with any decoration you like.

Step 11: Let the cake pops dry completly. You can put them in your fridge to speed up the process. Enjoy!:)
