Use a large pot.
Add your olive oil and heat.
Add your onion, red pepper and garlic. Cook until onions are translucent.
Make sure you take the casings off the sausage unless you want slices.
80/20 beef, pork sausage, Italian sausage and turkey burger.
Add to mixture. Mix well.
This is a Pampered Chef chopper. Great for getting meat in small pieces.
I drain the fat out of my meat mixture be using a colander and paper towels.
Use more paper towels to press out the fat.
Sauces ready. Dump over meat in the pan.
Tomato paste added.
For leftover paste. Put some cling wrap and lay it down.
Clean paste out of can and put it on cling wrap.
Put all the ends together and place in freezer for next time.
Let pasta simmer for 2-3 hours. Season to taste.
