How to make autumn soup

Gather Supplies

Gather instruments

Measure out 1 cup Butter or Margerine and place into pot

Measure out 1/2 cup of Milk and add to the pot

Put stove on low heat

Chop onions

Add to pot

Chop up celery

Add to pot

Chop up carrots

Add to pot

Chop up sweet potato

Add to pot

Chop up Butternut Squash

Add to pot

Add salt, pepper, chicken stock, brown sugar and Knorr Vegetable Soup mix to pot

Cover and let simmer for 30 minutes on low heat, stirring occasionally

Continue to stir and soup will get thicker as the vegetables break down.

Use a food processor or a blender to purée the mixture

You can transfer back into a bowl as you blend (you won't be able to fit all of the mixture into a blender at once)

Transfer back into pot and resume low heating

Add 3 cups of Milk and stir

You can add more milk to achieve desired consistency

Let simmer on low heat for another 25 minutes
