Gather all of the ingredients. Pre-heat your to 400 degrees Fahrenheit
In a small bowl combine all dry ingredients (flours, salt and spices)
In a mixer, add brown sugar, both eggs, oil and the molasses; whisk
Add the pumpkin, buttermilk and the vanilla to the mixture and whisk until it looks like the picture above
Stir in as many chocolate chips as you desire (here we used about a cup)
Put mixture into muffin pan using paper wrappers or non-stick spray to prevent the muffins from sticking
These are very healthy due to the nutrients contained in the pumpkin. Be sure not to get pumpkin pie filling because of the added artificial flavoring.
Bake for 20 minutes and enjoy
