How to cook easy and healthy chicken pasta dinner

Cook some pasta of your choice. Add a hint of salt and oil.

Chop up onion, shallot and garlic. Even though we will use pasta sauce, I like to add some simple fresh ingredients.

Slice up two sausages. These are fully cooked chicken sausages, which makes using them easier.

Roughly chop some basil.

Brown the shallots, onions and garlic in some oil.

Add the sausages and sauté lightly till they are hot.

Check on the pasta occasionally. When they are to your liking, drain and add a bit of butter.

Add the tomato sauce to the pan and warm that up, let it simmer but not boil and sputter.

I like to sprinkle on paprika to give it a unique taste. This is optional.

Add in the basil at the very end and let it sit for just a min.
